Pretty footage, bad narrative.
And a fucking big bad ass crane.
'Exclusive unseen time lapse video footage of the Miracle on the Hudson, US Airways flight 1549 as it is struggling to stay afloat and avoid the barrage of an ice attack. An unsung hero was the Airbus A320 which survived a crash landing, sinking and safely contained 155 Humans.'

Mute watch
'Mutewatch is a silent alarm in the shape of a vibrating wristband. This discreet device with its disguised touch screen brings structure and time back to its user. It serves as a quiet reminder that helps you to follow your own agenda without disturbing people in your surroundings.'

No-no (no numbers, no hands)
'Watch concepts without traditional numerics and even analog hands? Minimalism to its extreme – or at least that’s what designer Robert Dabi is pitching. His ZERO watch has two discs (one each for hours and minutes) that spin to tell time. My problem with many numeric-less concepts is difficulty in reading them. The ZERO looks like it may avoid that because I have no problems reading it.'

Extension cord redesigned
'Rambler Socket maybe the solution most of us are looking for as far as extension cords are concerned. I mean if you hit “Extension Cord” on YD, for most of the posts you will see readers nitpicking and finding fault with the design. Here’s why Rambler Socket will knock your socks off. It’s this 1.5 meters cord that unfurls from a cavity behind its socket. When you don’t need extensions, it’s neatly tucked away. When you need it, simply pinch the sides and wind it out.'

The Fun Theory
”Take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator and feel better” is something we often hear or read in the Sunday papers. Few people actually follow that advice. Can they get more people to take the stairs over the escalator by making it fun to do?
These guys painted the stairs in a subway station in Stockholm to make it look like a piano, and then they wired the stairs so they would actually play the music notes.
Check the rest of the site, it's pretty awesome.
